Transportation in the Age of Digitalisation

Fortos joined Chalmers seminar “Transportation in the Age of Digitalisation” to stay on top tomorrow’s transportation solutions and opportunities. The seminar addressed digitalisation as an opportunity to deliver the next generation of sustainable, safe and efficient transport. But increased personal travel and rising demands for goods, together with even higher requirements on environment, safety and competence, leads to new complexities. What challenges will the transport industry and society face? What expectations will users have and what type of solutions will be adopted? What risks can we foresee in a future that will increasingly rely on connected vehicles and shared data? These, and many other aspects of tomorrow’s transportation solutions were presented and discussed from different perspectives.
