This year, our Christmas gift aims to help UNHCR – The UN Refugee agency. UNHCR is an impartial organization, offering protection and assistance to refugees and others on the basis of their needs and irrespective of their race, religion, political opinion or gender.

Dealing with the effects of climate change is one of the UNHCR's major challenges in helping people escape. Now decades of development for a better environment are finally bearing fruit. Renewable energy together with fuel-efficient products is both environmentally friendly and efficient.

Fortos Christmas gift 2021 will contribute to provide solar panels in a refugee camp. Solar energy fills basic needs in refugee camps and gives people opportunities to change their lives. UNHCR uses solar panels to power water pumps and supply families with electricity.
